Gahanna-based custom printer's new investments provide more innovative options in less time, open up new markets and will double company revenue in two years

COLUMBUS, Ohio (May X, 2010)- Solar Imaging, a Gahanna-based wide format custom digital printer for major retailers and businesses, is growing with the addition of a wide-format (grand) digital printer and specialty cutting machine that will increase efficiencies by producing a greater volume of higher-quality products in less time. According to Solar Imaging CEO Jeff Burt, the capital investment will likely more that double company revenue from $1 million to $2.5 million over the next two years.

"With these new additions, we will be in a position to offer more capabilities to our clients and compete in new markets" Burt said.

Solar Imaging, with clients like Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works produces innovative, eye-catching and customer-focused store signage and printed materials. To serve these clients and support bigger, bolder and more creative projects, the new printer prints on a wider array of materials and substrates and more than one third thicker materials that before. This printer and the option of grand format will a expand Solar's capabilities and allow them to better serve their various markets which include restaurants, theatre, outdoor and day/night signage.

To celebrate this growth, Solar Imaging will host demonstrations June 8,9 and 10 to showcase the new machines and capabilities to current and potential clients.
