Solar Imaging...taking things to new heights!
Just recently Solar Imaging completed an install at the Port Columbus International Airport. Tables containing plug-ins and USB ports, were wrapped in a high-tack vinyl. The vinyl consisted of a scratch resistant laminant to allow for long term wear and tear on the table tops. These tables, placed largely in the terminals, allow passengers to hook up their lap tops and other electronical devices while they await their departure.
Aside from being extremely convenient they are aesthetically pleasing as well. The outlet boxes are attached on the under side of the tables and emit a blue glow. That combined with the colorful vinyl makes for a very eye catching piece.
The tables have already become quite a focal piece and success, according to David Saleme of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, not two days after the install he noticed in one terminal 11 out of the 12 tables were in use.
